Twenty years of research can be conceptualized by the single thought that we have accepted Clark Kent for Superman. Clark Kent is NOT Superman! Clark is no more Superman than a caterpillar is a butterfly. Hold on tight. Here it comes. Wait for it …It’s the same reason no saved man is a Christian! Why not ? You better know the answer to that. If you are willing to think this through with me we can take this journey together as to what destroyed (been misrepresented as) (substituted for) Christianity, and has kept legitimate believers in Christ from becoming Christians! Think about what was just said. Do you see the Great Diversion? So what’s wrong with Clark Kent? What’s keeping Clark from becoming the new the World needs him to become? No phone booth! No phone booth…no Power. No Power (OF God)…Christian! No power no Superman! Tell me about your power??? What power do you (we) have to change anything? If not (and you certainly do not), then it’s impossible for you to DO Christianity (2 Timothy 3:5). That’s not to say you’re not saved, but it is to say you are not a Christian!!! If you’re not a Christian (which will be proved with a train load of evidence), you sure can’t be a disciple of Christ, and if you aren’t a disciple of Christ, you certainly can’t to the …Work OF God! What you are is…Clark Kent. Your power is limited to the power of …man. You may dress up as Superman, but your ability is limited to jumping off the coffee table, and when you tell people you’re Superman they know better! If you were (superman), you would have the SAME power to do what the Disciples of Christ exemplified as the work of God!!! (which will be proven). We will prove that while you may have trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior, that does not make you a …new creature. The only way you (we) can acquire the real power of God, to be ABLE to do the works OF God, is to become this new life form. The ONLY was the disciples were empowered to do the SAME works (John 14:12) as Jesus “did” is to become this new creature, which thus far we have missed. We are going to start by choosing the Holy Bible as our only gold standard for Case Law. We will always refer to the Holy Bible as …Scripture (case law) (God’s only legal deposition). We will NEVER refer to the Holy Bible as the Word of God! The Holy Bible is NOT the Word of God!!! They are certainly NOT the same thing (as in interchangeable), and such casual bait and switch is one of the top ten most pernicious tools the Devil has devised to keep believers in Christ from ever becoming NEW Creatures in Christ (Christians)!!! If you haven’t suspected before, there is something wrong with Christianity, and it’s you. Without the of God you (Clark Kent) can never do the work of Christianity. I ask you, what is superman without power? Superman without power is …Clark Kent, It’s Jesus before age 30, it’s all believers right now. Consider the frustration Clark Kent would have to cope with trying to be Superman, but never finding the phone booth? Since he doesn’t have any powers to draw upon, he resorts to holding conventions, preaching …words… of the Life of Superman. Somehow we, like Clark, have got away with substituting words for power. What’s worse is we call THAT ministry. It’s impossible to preach Christianity! Christianity is not a religion which is to be PREACHED, but rather, Christianity is a …lifeform. Christian is the life form a true believer is to go on to …become (John 1:12). (Acts 1:8 “after”). Know this, that we (all true believers, Romans 10:9, 10, 13) have yet to become this NEW creature IN Christ which would transform (metamorphosis) into the new life form he promised (2 Corinthians 5:17). The Great Deception is that …we have!!! Again (and again and again) I say, never confuse getting saved with becoming a Christian. Never confuse being forgiven from your sin debt by the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and becoming a CHRIST-ian. A Christian is a new …Life Form! Are you a new life form? No! You’re saved, but you are still “Clark Kent”! THAT is why you don’t have the power promised to you by God. Do you really think that God left you to live out your time on EARTH as Clark Kent? I thought he said that we can do all things THROUGH Christ (Philippians 4:13). So, why can’t YOU do what the disciples were empowered to do? Remember, Christianity has NOTHING to do with past sins (that’s salvation). What we are discovering is the power of God that we were cheated out of receiving AFTER we were saved (Acts 1:8). Do you begin to see the purpose of this study?! Let’s start by asking When did Jesus die? It’s not an easy question. God is a very technical entity (He takes on projects like the DNA strand or the Milky Way, and since we were created in HIS image, whatever he is, we ARE!). Most are unaware that Jesus first died 3 ½ years before his famous crucifixion on Mt. Calvary. (All the scriptural evidence will be meticulously submitted later, but for now know be aware the Holy GHOST (not to be confused with Holy Spirit). They are not the same, and are not interchangeable. One is to save and seal your (depraved) soul until the day of redemption (the Second Coming of Christ, or the termination of your body functions, whichever is first), and the second one has one function, which is to …crucify…(as in put to death) your SOUL. This is exactly what happened to Jesus at, here it comes, (what was your answer?) at age …30! Not at 33 ½.What do we know of Jesus prior to age 30? Not much. What good works, or ministries did he do? What furniture did he build? What power did he have?? None! Note, when I ask what power did HE do it’s the same think as if I asked what have you (as in your Soul) done. (It’s not a complement, because “without me, ye can do NOTHING, John 15:5). There is a definable reason WHY Jesus could do nothing, absolutely nothing for the first 30 years of his life and it’s the same reason why you are a weak, powerless SOUL pretending (unintentionally, obliviously) to be something you have yet to become (Christian). Jesus too was a weak powerless SOUL, who for all we know go the same bloody noses and skinned knees as the rest of us. For approximately 30 years Jesus faced all the limitations you (your soul operating your body) that we all face. Something was wrong with Jesus (Clark Kent) and needed to be fixed! It’s what is wrong with saved me 2000 years later! This present condition is not the way it’s supposed to be. It’s not the way God intended it to play out. Get it, your SOUL was never intended to remain in control of your body AFTER you got saved (Acts 1:8, etc.). The reason we are impotent is because we have yet to figure out how to switch over from the Soul controlling our body to the spirit controlling it. Spirit control is what we are missing, it’s what Jesus was missing and it’s what the first 13 disciples (Jesus and the 12) discovered when shortly after Jesus turned 30 (I don’t believe there is anything magic about 30 years, other than to make a distinction between the time the Soul was in control and the time the spirit took over control of the same body and empowered it to do what these disciples exemplified. Imagine the frustration Jesus had for those 30 years. It’s the same inability we face. Note, not only are you not doing God’s work, It’s IMPOSSIBLE for you (your soul) to do it. You’re still Clark Kent! You’re a saved Clark Kent, but you have yet to be transformed into a NEW creature!!! Imagine the frustration of Clark trying to do Superman. You may be saved, but you CANNOT do the work of Christ because you lack the spirit of Christ, and if you don’t have the spirit of Christ the only power you can draw on is the SOUL of Gary (or whatever you name is)! Let’s get technical for just a moment. It’s not that we missed our salvation, what we missed is our “resurrection IN Christ”. When we get saved the Spirit Christ comes into us and seals us (Ephesians 4:30) until the day of redemption, but it’s a totally different matter to get from Christ in you to you in Christ! It’s one thing for him to be in you, but it’s a totally different life form for us to move into the Body of Christ! One is the life of Clark Kent, the other is the life of Christ )life form not life style). We received our salvation, but what we missed is our newness of life ( don’t let people tell you this means lifestyle. What god said is “newness of life” (Romans 6:4). Do not miss that not only did Jesus die on the cross of Calvary (to shed his blood in eternal payment for our sin debt), but that he raised from the dead. Why? Why did he raise from the dead? He tells us…that we should walk in newness of life (again this life is the person of Christ). So he was raised from the dead so that we should walk IN Christ (our NEW life form). It is only when we make this transition(what I will call “singularity”) that we will ever be able to tap into the same power he gave the first disciples. Everybody I know presumes that they have already made this transition, in spite of their glaring lack of the promised power of God. Never be willing to settle for preaching Scripture, when you can have the Word of God (the person, Jesus Christ, the power of God)! “The Next Phase” (Probably the single most significant phrase, clue, that will permit you, believers, to get to, transform into, the life form God intended us to become, while yet on Earth).
